Position Overview
This is a specialized front-end position focused on creating
intuitive, responsive, efficient, and visually polished user experiences.
High fluency in English C1 and above (speaking, reading, and listening) — mandatory.
The ideal candidate combines strong front-end development skills with an understanding of user experience, usability, accessibility, responsive design, and modern web development practices.
The candidate does not need to be a full-stack developer. However, they should be comfortable working with APIs and collaborating closely with backend and full-stack developers to connect the user interface to application services and data.
This position is primarily in-office, with some flexibility for occasional remote work. It is not intended to be a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for internal and customer-facing web applications.
- Build responsive interfaces that work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Translate business requirements and design concepts into functional web interfaces.
- Develop reusable UI components and front-end functionality.
- Improve the usability, navigation, and overall user experience of existing applications.
- Work closely with backend and full-stack developers to integrate front-end applications with APIs and business systems.
- Consume and work with REST APIs and other backend services.
- Troubleshoot front-end bugs, browser compatibility issues, performance problems, and usability concerns.
- Test interfaces across browsers, screen sizes, and supported devices.
- Improve front-end performance and page-load times.
- Maintain and improve existing user interfaces and applications.
- Participate in application design and technical discussions.
- Help establish and maintain front-end development standards.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and make applications easier to use.
- Ensure interfaces are consistent across applications and platforms.
Front-End Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations.
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
- Comfortable with front-end debugging and browser developer tools.
- Understanding of web accessibility and accessible UI development.
- Experience identifying and improving front-end performance issues.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, visual hierarchy, and user workflows.
- Experience building reusable UI components and maintaining consistent interface patterns.
- Ability to translate designs and business requirements into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and improve existing applications.
Front-End Security
The candidate should have a basic understanding of common front-end security concerns, including:
- Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)
- Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
- Secure handling of user input and sensitive information.
- Authentication and authorization interfaces.
- Safe API interactions and handling of API responses.
- General browser and front-end security considerations.
The candidate does not need to be a security specialist, but should understand how front-end development can impact application security.
Frameworks & Tools
Experience with at least one modern front-end framework is strongly preferred:
- React
- Vue.js
- Angular
- Svelte
- Other modern JavaScript frameworks
Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools is also a plus.
Additional Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of any of the following is beneficial but not required:
- Design systems and component libraries
- Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
- Automated front-end testing
- Data visualization and dashboard development
- Web application security
- CI/CD and performance optimization
- PHP/Laravel, SQL, AWS, or Azure
Education & Experience
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, UX/UI Design, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience and demonstrated ability will also be considered.
