Position Overview
The primary technical focus is PHP and Laravel, with exposure to SQL, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, APIs, and system integrations.
High fluency in English C1 and above (speaking, reading, and listening) — mandatory.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of technical problems, develop practical solutions with minimal supervision, and contribute ideas that improve our systems, processes, and overall development environment.
This position is primarily in-office, with some flexibility for occasional remote work. It is not a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL databases, queries, and data structures.
- Develop APIs and integrations between internal and third-party systems.
- Work with applications and services across AWS and Azure environments.
- Work with data and applications utilizing Snowflake.
- Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and performance issues.
- Analyze existing applications and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.
- Test and validate solutions before deployment.
- Document technical solutions and processes when appropriate.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, reliability, and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in software development.
- Strong experience with PHP, with primary expertise in Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong understanding of web application development and architecture.
- Experience developing or working with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong logical, mathematical, and analytical reasoning.
- Ability to understand complex problems and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Preferred / Additional Skills
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Snowflake
- VBA / VB.NET
- JavaScript and modern front-end technologies
- Machine Learning / AI tools
- Power BI
- Front-end web security
- Mobile application development
- Legacy application or system integration
- CI/CD or DevOps
- Additional programming languages or frameworks
These are not required. A strong technical foundation and the ability to learn new technologies are more important.
