We are seeking a Payroll, Billing & Financial Analyst to support payroll, billing, accounting, financial reporting, and business analysis functions while helping improve the systems and processes used to manage financial data.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support payroll, billing, accounting, financial reporting, and business analysis while helping improve the systems and processes used to manage financial data.
High fluency in English C1 and above (speaking, reading, and listening) — mandatory.

This position combines financial analysis, accounting, data analysis, and technology. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with numbers and data, and interested in using technology to make financial and operational processes more accurate and efficient.

Candidates with backgrounds in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

The position is primarily in-office, with some flexibility for occasional remote work. It is not a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Support regular payroll activities.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate payroll processes.

Billing & Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare, review, and process customer billing.
  • Verify billing information and supporting documentation.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile billing activity with accounting records.
  • Assist with customer account analysis and reporting.
  • Identify billing trends, errors, and process improvements.

Accounting & Financial Analysis

  • Maintain and review accounting records and financial data.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and transaction verification.
  • Prepare financial and management reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Research unusual transactions or financial activity.
  • Assist with audit and compliance documentation.
  • Provide useful financial analysis to leadership and operational teams.

Data Analysis & Technical Skills

The role involves working with financial, payroll, billing, and operational datasets.

The candidate should be comfortable using analytical or technical tools to:

  • Manipulate, analyze, and validate data.
  • Develop queries, scripts, reports, or analytical tools.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, inefficiencies, and potential errors.
  • Automate repetitive or manual processes.
  • Build or improve data models and analytical workflows.
  • Translate financial and business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Work with developers and technical teams when financial systems require technical support.

The candidate does not need to be a software developer. The focus is on combining financial knowledge with analytical and technical skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and financial concepts.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with large or complex datasets.
  • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills.
  • Some experience with SQL, programming, scripting, or data analysis.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify their underlying cause.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and clearly communicate financial information.
  • Ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Programming & Data Skills

Experience with any of the following is a plus:
