Position Overview
We are seeking an Android Mobile Platform Developer to take primary responsibility for developing, maintaining, and improving our Android applications.
High fluency in English C1 and above (speaking, reading, and listening) — mandatory.
This is a specialized Android development position. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience with native Android development, including Kotlin and/or Java, Android Studio, Android SDK, APIs, application architecture, testing, and deployment.
The developer will work closely with backend, full-stack, database, and business teams to build reliable mobile applications that integrate with our internal systems and services.
This position is primarily in-office, with some flexibility for occasional remote work. It is not a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications.
- Build new mobile features based on business and technical requirements.
- Maintain and improve existing Android applications.
- Integrate applications with APIs, databases, authentication, notifications, and backend services.
- Troubleshoot crashes, bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.
- Test applications across supported Android devices and operating system versions.
- Participate in application architecture and technical decisions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Improve application performance, reliability, usability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and development standards.
- Work with backend developers to resolve integration issues.
- Translate business requirements into practical mobile solutions.
- Participate in development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Prepare and support application releases through Google Play.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience developing Android applications.
- Strong understanding of native Android development.
- Professional or significant project experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Understanding of Android application architecture and lifecycle.
- Experience working with REST APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with JSON and data exchange.
- Experience with Git or another version-control system.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of mobile application security and data protection.
- Strong logical and problem-solving skills.

The developer does not need to be a full-stack developer, but should understand how mobile applications communicate with backend systems and be able to troubleshoot integration issues.

- Protection of sensitive information.
- Common mobile application vulnerabilities.
Testing & Quality
The developer will be expected to thoroughly test their own work, including:

- API and backend integrations.

- Regression testing.
